P.Steward may forgive me, but referenced from a stockphoto of the dog i saw the other day on sxc.hu i felt really inspired and painted this idea.

I think this dogportraiture shows indeed some faithful and loyal aspects of the character played in the series, but also in a funny manner.
For those who didn´t know J.L.Picard he is the captain from Star Trek the next generation.
