Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Exhibition preparation

Still preparing stuff for the first exhibition in Trier,
the second follows 7 days later, so you can imagine,
its a little stressy here

"Magic -realism" this show is in the
Kunst-kombinat-Trier on Friday -March 27th,

Sadly, the rpc - cologne thing will not happen this year, too many illustrators

Nöö....da ich nichts gehört hab, denke ich wohl kaum...aber ich hab auch nicht damt gerechnet!
Ich find es toll, daß Du diese Ausstellungen hast. Gratulation!!!! Und das meine ich ehrlich!
Bei mir läuft grad gar nix....meine HP wurde gehackt, meine Bilder interessiert auch keinen und meine Muse is auf Osterurlaub.....

hmm, das scheint mir so ne kostenlose domain zu sein...
da muß man mit sowas rechnen...naja genau sowas hab ich zwar noch nicht gesehen, aber´s gibt halt script-kiddies die nix besseres zu tun haben...
mein tipp, kauf dir nen mac, hol dir nen einfachen 1und1 account und mach die hamepage selbst mit iweb, ist kinderleicht und da passiert dann sowas auch nicht.
