Exhibition, CSS-mess, and new header

Journal Entry: Fri Feb 13, 2009, 7:36 AM

Journal update

Sorry for the mess with journals again,
but i had a few trial and errors with a new header,
and while updating, i tried to get some permanent
links on the right column working.

hence the mess, so no worries, i´ve been
not hacked.

btw, it was just a matter of time since ppl get
phished on dA, in this case Myspace is a few steps
ahead with at least suggesting people, that a
link to offsite could be dangerous...

i worked long time with a graphire 3, which is still ok, but when i did the leap to intuos, it blew me away how easy everything goes...
also the extra set of buttons and the touch-strip...makes it so easy to navigate especially to very large images.

It works prety well enough for me at the moment. What I do is that I buy downloadable dvd's at thegnomonworkshop to learn how to do digital painting... I really like the way they do their tutorials because they really explain well in details so it is not money lost. I know what you mean by Intuos ,if I had the money to buy one I would have done it tought :(. Still I am very happy with what I have now, and you should do some tutorials and sell them that is an idea like that because you really master the digital painting techniques.

hm, yes the gnomonworkshops are truly great, you should also have a look over the conceptart.org pages, as some great artists share their knowledge in the forums and you can ask questions, or see how a piece develops.

as for the tutorials, i would rather do a workshop with 5 or 6 people over a few days, maybe later then

i´m still learning a lot everyday;-)

Yes I am loged in to conceptart.org as well, but I will take a look thank you if it can save me time and money as well then it is nice too. Still I really love how gnomon explain things and that I can watch it over and over again when I want. I have more difficulties to learn on just photos tutorials.
