yeah, Raster is again alive and kickin!
i was away for over a week and hadn´t the time to finish a piece for raster, and deadline was a few days ago, so it was a very happy accident, that i could finish this piece in nearly 3 hours on thursday, to have it included in this chapter on friday!

please, if you have a look over the actual Raster release, its like it was never away, the core and the direction is developing, yet still the same which i think is very rare to find!

Great collection. I did not read everything, but is dave mckean your inspiration? Great illustrator, I did a big school project about him. Your images look very yummie. Are you doing it on a traditional way or digital?

thanks, yes its definitly McKean inspired, and like him i try always to combine traditional with digital medium, almost always crossing;-)

The image is not working here on DA, but I took a glance to the last Rapter's chapter to find it, and it looks fantastic :), I really like the idea of putting horns coming out from her eyes, and the insects on the paper-face are a nice touch. I would have added some more contrast to the face though, but looks amazing mate :)

thank you, indeed the contrast could have been pushed a bit more, but that is some kind of work where i´m just happy that it turns out so, that the rest is simply unimportant till some point...but when i have time i see things from a different view...
glad you had the time to take a look over the actual raster release!

i try again to upload it here, but dA did mess alot with submissions with me...grrrr;-)
