again a newer one,This one is a pencil illustration,on canvas/papercollage,recomposed in photoshop, and partially painted over with wacom...
the concept i started with was to combine a finished with an unfinished part in one piece, but the Medusa idea came at least,i thought it was an interresting touch to not focussing the snakes, but yet adding a motion or interaction with them, and as always you know i love to reinterpret old stuff andso
so hope ya like...

Thanks for your appreciation.
And plus, I love to see the canvas on this one, it is such a wonderful piece I'm in love with it.
My Congratulations of heart!!!
which fascinates me most!
The background texture makes the piece feel so warm. The rendering of her face is just beautiful. The snakes are like whispers.
Incredible. I'm at a loss for words, really.
yeah, very mysterious. I love it.
I loved the idea of the suggestion of snakes appearing like spectres in the movement of the hair. It surprised me to see a sketch on the texture of canvas and great overlayering in rough squiggles, developing immediacy. It goes to my faves.
you´re very welcome...
I actually like the fact that the snake's are a bit sketch like.
Although it would be nice to see them more life like to
But anyway's, great work!
Love the look she has, the discription fits it well great work once more
btw. Foto ist im Umschlag und geht morgen ab
beautiful loose style. those eyes are bewitching. the
way you made them glow like two dark orbs,...with pencils!
and i love the choice of the canvas to render this on.
really quite stunning.
i like how the snakes on the outside is so 2d and it leads into the face which is completely 3d and realistic .. great job !!
